So for the most part bathrooms here are squatters with no toilet paper. Well we have to walk past the school bathroom squatters to get to our office every day and I always become VERY aware of my breathing whenever I walk past them…
China has these vending machines that peel and fresh squeeze orange juice for you. Its so cool! I may have to bring this Idea to the US and become a millionaire.
We have this thing called Dream Stage where the kids practice a song or dancefor a month then perform it for the parents. Well one of the little girls straight up came looking like a hooker. Heels. Fish nets. Leather jacket. Booty jean shorts. Red lipstick and glitter around her eyes….she was 7…Her mom was in the same thing! When the moms drop off their kids in the morning some of them straight look like strippers. This is a totally acceptable look and fashion here. CPS would be called if a parent dropped a kid off like that.
I never realized how much kids pick their noses and put their hands down their pants until they were trying to touch me all the time...
I get in trouble when I teach with my legs crossed because the Chinese people think the kids legs will grow different lengths if they cross their legs so that's interesting and totally weird.
I played soccer with a bunch of elementary school kids this week and it was seriously so fun. I was just laughing the whole time because they didn't speak very good English so I couldn't understand them at all when they tried to tell me what they wanted me to do.
Been in a few squatters myself!!
